It's the all 'bout the little things that make me smile.
This is so much fun. I haven't played games in forever.., but this commercial makes me want to get the extremelly overpriced PS3. Which I won't, cause I'm broke, and I don't have the time.. But this is so much fun to watch. I hope I can be part of something like this one day.
It's..just....FUN. o_O

Final Color DFA Assignment
Here's my final color piece for my DFA class at Ringling!
I've still got work to do on it but like my other projects, it'll have to wait until Thanksgiving break.
It was definitely fun! Never really done a color piece digitally. And Painter X is awesome! I was going for a watercolor-y look to it. Gonna try something more complicated for my next piece.
DFA is definitely a relaxing, therapeutic class.
Aaaah, trying so hard to get some solid portfolio pieces together. I don't feel I'm at the level I'd like to be...and Junior year is going by so fast!
Well..on the bright side, I'm sure every studio needs a coffee boy around..and hey! I'm from Colombia! ;)
But seriously. I need to work faster and better. Gotta get me an internship next summer...

Animatic - Culinary Casualties
Just thought I'd post a fun little project for my Concept Dev class...
Story, characters, etc etc, by Gary Schumer's Concept Developement III class, Fall '07.
Thanks y'all! The aspect ratio is wrong thanks to google video, so I'll repost it when I get a small enough quicktime to embed here.. Timing seems a little off too..yay lag!
But anyhoo.

Blast from the past... London HoneyTeaMoon Adventure!
I wanted to post some neat stuff I found in a cozy little toy museum in London, when I went there with Carrie last summer...
It's Jay and Carrie's London Adventures!
(OMG)
So these are pretty neat. They were selling some of these (not the actualy toys, but vintage..remakes I suppose). They were expensive, so sadly I couldn't afford any of them..but.. Aren't they awesome?
This was my favorite part though...
I was very excited to see a magic lantern, a little Felix the Cat flipbook, and an actual praxinoscope!
They were selling new ones but...sigh. :<
We also went around and saw the sights (Woot Stone henge!), but this was definetly some of the most fun we had in London.
Carrie made a special friend..
And I met Freddie.
I'm a dolt.
So I had comments turned off... And my good buddy Liron just pointed that out... So..you can comment on my crappy stuff! ;) Please do, too.. I need all the help I can get! :D
Characters Ahoy!
Here's some of the characters I came up with for our Drawing for Animators class...
A bull dog... (Ahuyck!)
The bat plane!
A large catlike mount dozing off while his weird..winged..sidekick keeps an eye out? I kall the big guy Ikkuru..
And this is Itchuna, shaman woman!
That was fun... Now back to learning how to use painter and animate in Maya... Weee!
